A very fine 19th century, Louis
XV/XVI transitional style, ormolu-mounted satinwood and tulipwood
parquetry small armoire. The rouge royal marble top above a single drawer
inlaid with a banded panel of zigzag and a quarter-veneered cupboard door
enclosing shelves. The rounded angles inlaid with faux-fluting and the
whole raised on short cabriole legs. |
