A French, Louis XV style,
ormolu-mounted, rosewood parquetry, small bombe commode, 19th century, the
shaped rectangular serpentine-fronted rouge royal marble top above three
drawers inlaid with checkered border, raised on splayed legs headed with
pierced ormolu corner mounts and ending with pierced ormolu sabots.
The sides decorated with a parquetry of cubes. The whole fitted with
ormolu ribbon-tied keyhole escutcheons, drawer pulls and apron mount. |
