A French, ormolu-mounted, Louis XV style, two-drawer commode with a serpentine-shaped grey marble top. The front with a floral marquetry of tulipwood, kingwood, rosewood and other exotic woods. The whole raised on cabriole legs and fitted with ormolu drawer pulls, keyhole escutcheons, pierced ormolu corner mounts, apron mount and sabots. 19th century. |
