Return shipping is expected to commence immediately. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Your refund will be issued once we receive the piece being returned.

   User acknowledges that property made available through the website owned by The Christian Du Pont Collection consists primarily of antiques and as such may be somewhat worn and in varying condition.  The absence of any reference to the condition of an item does not imply that the item is without defects, repairs or restorations.  Merchandise is sold “as is” according to the policy of The Christian Du Pont Collection.

In the event of a purchase, payment may only be made by check payable to The Christian Du Pont Collection, by bank wire transfer, or by credit card.  All purchases are subject to Florida State Sales Tax if delivered within the state of Florida, regardless of the state or country in which the purchaser resides or does business.  Purchaser may be exempt from paying such tax only upon advance presentation of a valid Florida State Resale Certificate or an interstate Commerce Commission Bill of Lading stating the ultimate shipment to a location outside the state of Florida.  Purchases will not be released unless all sales tax requirements are satisfied.  The export of any item from the United States, or import into any other country, may be subject to granting by local authorities of one or more export or import licenses.  It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to obtain any relevant export or import licenses.  Packing and handling of purchased items are at the entire risk of the purchaser.  The Christian Du Pont Collection may be able to assist the purchaser in making arrangements for delivery, shipment and insurance of purchases.  However, the purchaser will be responsible for shipping and insurance expenses.  The Christian Du Pont Collection will also, upon request, provide names of professional packers and shippers, although The Christian Du Pont Collection shall have no liability or responsibility for providing this information.
