A superb early 19th century circa 1830, French Louis XV style carved and gilt
canape. The elegant undulating crest rail carved with shell and foliate carvings highlighted with gilt. This movement and decoration is repeated on the serpentine-fronted seat. The whole is supported on six cabriole legs.
