A charming Louis XVI style
ormolu-mounted Lady’s table de toilette in exotic woods, early 19th
century, circa 1830. The rectangular hinged top inlaid with a trellis
parquetry with banded borders within a three-quarter pierced ormolu
gallery. The top opening to reveal an interior fitted with a mirror plate
and a damask lined well above two drawers with banded borders; raised on
square tapering legs ending in sabots. Fitted with an ormolu keyhole
escutcheon. |
