An ormolu-mounted tortoiseshell,
brass and ebony serpentine-shaped Boulle style table, 19th century. The
ormolu-banded serpentine-shaped top with a tortoiseshell and brass
marquetry surrounded by an ebony banding above a frieze fitted with a
central drawer. The whole raised on cabriole legs headed by pierced ormolu
chutes decorated with cartouches and foliage, and ending in sabots. |
