An elegant mid-19th century
French, Louis XV style writing table. The top serpentine sided and brass
banded with conforming borders of floral marquetry surrounding a
central, oval reserve of flowers. Fitted with a long serpentine fronted
drawer and inlaid with floral and shell marquetry. Similarly
inlaid on the other opposite and flanking sides. It stands on four
graceful cabriole legs mounted with foliate rocaille chutes
ending in sabots. |
