A very fine French, Louis XV
style, mid-19th century center table in rosewood, boxwood and exotic woods
floral marquetry, with a single drawer in the frieze. The serpentine sided
top inlaid with a central urn containing scrolling flowers and foliate
surrounded by conforming floral inlaid borders and a brass band. All sides
are inlaid with a floral spray and boxwood stringing continuing to ormolu
mounted cabriole legs ending in sabots. |
